Community Guidelines
Last Updated: June 8, 2026
At Uncrowned Empire, we are committed to fostering respectful, engaging, useful, and safe communities across our platforms, including Uncrowned Gaming, Uncrowned Addiction, Uncrowned Armory, and any other Uncrowned Empire community spaces.
These Community Guidelines explain the rules, expectations, and enforcement standards for participation on our sites.
By using our forums, comments, clubs, blogs, profiles, private messages, uploads, or other user-facing features, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Where These Guidelines Apply
These guidelines apply to all user-generated content and community interactions across Uncrowned Empire, including:
Forum posts and replies
Article comments
Blog posts and blog comments
Clubs and club content
Profiles and status updates
Private messages
Signatures
Uploaded images, files, and media
Links, embeds, and attachments
Usernames, avatars, banners, and profile fields
Community areas may allow more personal opinion, promotion, affiliate content, sponsored content, or casual discussion than official editorial areas, but users are still expected to be honest, respectful, lawful, and non-deceptive. The current version already frames the policy as applying across Uncrowned Empire sites, including Gaming, Addiction, Armory, and other community spaces.
Individual Uncrowned Empire sites or sections may add site-specific rules when needed, especially for topic areas such as gaming, technology, cybersecurity, military history, home security, marketplaces, events, blogs, or creator spaces.
Enforcement System: Warning Points
Uncrowned Empire uses a structured warning point system to enforce these guidelines.
Each rule violation may result in warning points being added to a user’s account. Accumulated points may lead to temporary restrictions, suspensions, or permanent removal from the community.
Points | Action Taken |
|---|---|
5 points | 24-hour posting restriction |
10 points | 1-week account suspension |
15 points | 1-month account suspension |
20 points | 1-year account suspension |
30+ points | Indefinite or permanent account ban |
Warning points generally expire after 150 days, unless otherwise stated.
Severe violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal regardless of point total. Staff may adjust penalties based on severity, intent, user history, repeated behavior, evasion, safety risk, or disruption to the community.
Staff decisions are final, though appeals may be reviewed when appropriate.
Prohibited Conduct and Warning Values
The following categories describe behavior that may result in warnings, restrictions, suspensions, or bans. Point values are default guidelines and may be adjusted by staff depending on context.
Severe Violations
Severe violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, or high warning-point penalties.
Child Exploitation or Sexual Content Involving Minors
30 Points / Permanent Ban
Any sexual, exploitative, abusive, suggestive, or inappropriate content involving minors is prohibited. This includes images, links, descriptions, jokes, roleplay, fictionalized sexual content involving minors, or attempts to solicit such material.
This may also be reported to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate.
Terrorist Content, Extremist Advocacy, or Violent Radicalization
30 Points / Permanent Ban
Content that promotes, recruits for, praises, supports, or distributes propaganda for terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, or violent ideological movements is prohibited.
Malware, Hacking Tools, Credential Theft, or Malicious Code
15–30 Points
Users may not post, link, distribute, request, or promote malware, credential stealers, phishing kits, exploit kits, botnets, malicious scripts, or tools intended to compromise accounts, systems, networks, devices, or services.
Discussion of cybersecurity topics may be allowed when clearly educational, defensive, legal, newsworthy, or focused on prevention, and not enabling abuse.
Scams, Fraud, Phishing, or Deceptive Links
10–30 Points
Attempts to steal accounts, money, personal information, digital items, license keys, access codes, credentials, subscriptions, or access to services are prohibited.
This includes phishing links, fake giveaways, impersonation scams, fraudulent trades, fake support messages, misleading downloads, fake login pages, and deceptive off-site redirects.
Threats of Violence or Harm
15–30 Points
Threatening violence, encouraging harm, celebrating harm against specific people or groups, or making credible threats against users, staff, public figures, companies, communities, organizations, or locations is prohibited.
Doxxing or Posting Private Information
15–30 Points
Posting, requesting, threatening to reveal, or encouraging others to share private personal information is prohibited.
This includes home addresses, private phone numbers, personal emails, private accounts, IP addresses, workplace details, private photos, private messages, family information, or other identifying information not clearly intended for public sharing.
Repeated Hate Speech or Incitement to Violence
20–30 Points
Hate speech, dehumanizing language, slurs, targeted attacks, or calls for discrimination or violence based on protected characteristics are prohibited.
Repeated or severe violations may result in long-term or permanent removal.
Ban Evasion or Suspension Evasion
10–30 Points
Creating, using, borrowing, or coordinating another account to bypass a warning, restriction, suspension, or ban is prohibited.
Evasion may result in additional penalties or permanent removal.
Major Violations
Major violations may result in warning points, content removal, temporary restrictions, or suspension.
Illegal Content or Illegal Activity
5–30 Points
Users may not use Uncrowned Empire communities to post, arrange, promote, request, or facilitate illegal activity.
This includes stolen goods, stolen accounts, stolen game keys, illegal services, fraud, piracy distribution, unlawful weapons sales, controlled substances, unlawful surveillance, or other prohibited activity.
Restricted or Prohibited Sales
5–30 Points
Users may not use the community to buy, sell, trade, broker, arrange, or facilitate illegal goods, stolen goods, hacked accounts, stolen game keys, controlled substances, weapons, ammunition, regulated accessories, or other prohibited items.
Educational, historical, legal, safety-focused, or newsworthy discussion of firearms, defense technology, military history, preparedness, or security topics may be allowed when it does not facilitate illegal sales, evasion of law, violence, or unsafe activity.
Allowed marketplace-style discussion, if any, must follow site rules and applicable law.
Dangerous Instructions or Unsafe Guidance
5–30 Points
Users may not post instructions, requests, guides, or support intended to help others commit violence, build weapons for misuse, bypass security, evade law enforcement, commit cyber abuse, create dangerous substances, cause physical harm, or defeat safety systems.
Educational, historical, defensive, safety-focused, or newsworthy discussion may be allowed when handled responsibly and without actionable harmful instructions.
Pornographic or Explicit Sexual Material
5–15 Points
Pornographic content, explicit sexual images, explicit sexual links, or sexually graphic material are not allowed in general community areas.
Mature discussions may be allowed when relevant, non-graphic, and appropriate to the topic, but explicit sexual content is prohibited.
Targeted Harassment or Abusive Behavior
5–15 Points
Harassment, intimidation, stalking, repeated unwanted contact, personal attacks, dogpiling, targeted insults, or abusive behavior toward users, staff, creators, developers, writers, public figures, companies, or other people is prohibited.
Disagreeing with someone is allowed. Targeting or abusing them is not.
Impersonation
10–30 Points
Impersonating staff, another user, a developer, publisher, public figure, company representative, moderator, official account, organization, or brand is prohibited.
Parody or roleplay must be clearly identifiable and may still be restricted if misleading or disruptive.
Trolling, Flaming, or Intentionally Derailing Threads
3–10 Points
Users may not intentionally derail discussions, provoke fights, spam arguments, bait users, or repeatedly turn topics into personal disputes.
Good-faith disagreement is welcome. Bad-faith disruption is not.
Promoting or Encouraging Self-Harm
10–30 Points
Encouraging self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous behavior is prohibited.
Supportive discussion and recovery-focused conversation may be allowed when handled responsibly, but encouragement, instructions, or glorification are not allowed.
Misleading AI-Generated Content, Deepfakes, or Fake Media
5–30 Points
AI-generated images, audio, video, screenshots, charts, documents, gameplay, product images, security evidence, military imagery, news materials, or other media may not be used to deceive users.
This includes fake gameplay, fake screenshots, fake evidence, fake quotes, misleading charts, deepfakes, impersonation, fabricated documents, or media presented as real when it is not.
AI-generated content may be allowed when clearly labeled, non-deceptive, and compliant with site rules.
Cheats, Exploits, Account Abuse, or Unauthorized Services
3–15 Points
Promotion, sale, distribution, or facilitation of game cheats, software cracks, stolen accounts, unauthorized boosting, account recovery scams, key theft, piracy tools, exploit services, or ban-evasion services may be removed or penalized.
Discussion of game balance, anti-cheat systems, cybersecurity news, software vulnerabilities, exploit reporting, platform policy, or digital rights may be allowed when it is clearly educational, defensive, legal, and not instructional for abuse.
Unapproved, Undisclosed, or Misleading Advertising
1–10 Points
Advertising, affiliate links, sponsored posts, referral links, promotional campaigns, or self-promotion may be allowed in appropriate areas when relevant, honest, and properly disclosed.
However, spam, deceptive promotions, undisclosed material connections, misleading affiliate content, fake reviews, or advertising disguised as normal discussion may be removed or penalized.
Users and staff are responsible for disclosing affiliate relationships, sponsorships, free products, review codes, paid promotions, referral benefits, or other material connections when relevant.
Minor Violations
Minor violations may result in small warning-point penalties, content removal, reminders, or staff edits.
Spam
1–5 Points
Spam includes mass posting, repeated low-effort content, nonsense posts, duplicate threads, irrelevant promotional posts, keyword stuffing, bot-like posting, or posting only to boost visibility.
Excessive Profanity or Inappropriate Language
1–3 Points
Casual language is allowed, but excessive profanity, graphic language, hostile language, or language used to attack others may be removed or penalized.
Disruptive Signatures or Profiles
1–3 Points
Signatures, avatars, banners, usernames, and profile content should not disrupt readability, contain offensive material, imitate staff, or function primarily as advertising banners.
Off-Topic Bumping
1 Point
Posting only to move a topic up, revive a thread without adding value, or repeatedly bump content may be penalized.
Misuse of Reporting Tools
1–5 Points
Reports should be used to alert staff to genuine issues. False reports, repeated bad-faith reports, harassment through reports, or using reports to continue arguments may result in warnings.
Backseat Moderating
1–3 Points
Users should not attempt to publicly moderate, threaten, or police other users. If something violates the rules, report it and allow staff to handle it.
Helpful reminders may be acceptable, but users should not escalate conflicts by acting as unofficial moderators.
Unmarked Spoilers
1–3 Points
Story, campaign, ending, quest, character death, event reveal, major announcement, major entertainment moment, or major content spoilers should be clearly marked and kept out of titles when reasonable.
Spoilers from leaks should be handled with extra caution and may be removed if they are disruptive, deceptive, or harmful to the community.
Signature and Profile Guidelines
We encourage creativity, but signatures and profiles should respect the readability and tone of the community.
Signatures and profile content should:
Avoid explicit, hateful, or offensive material
Avoid excessive image stacking
Avoid oversized fonts or distracting formatting
Avoid flashing or visually disruptive content
Avoid impersonating staff, brands, organizations, or other users
Avoid functioning primarily as advertising banners
Follow affiliate and promotional disclosure rules when relevant
Violations may result in content removal and warning points.
Affiliate Links, Sponsored Content, and Promotion
Uncrowned Empire communities may allow affiliate links, sponsored content, reviews, recommendations, and promotional posts in appropriate user-driven areas, including blogs and forums.
However, users must be honest and clear when they have a material connection to what they are promoting.
Users should disclose when content includes:
Affiliate links
Sponsored content
Free products
Review codes
Paid promotions
Referral bonuses
Personal business interests
Any other material relationship that may affect the recommendation
Promotional content must not be misleading, spammy, deceptive, or disguised as neutral discussion.
Official news and guide policies may be stricter than community blog and forum rules.
AI-Generated Content
AI-generated or AI-assisted content is allowed in community areas when it follows site rules.
However, users may not use AI to deceive others, impersonate real people, fabricate evidence, generate fake screenshots, fake gameplay, fake quotes, fake claims, fake product results, fake technical evidence, fake security findings, fake historical materials, or misrepresent real events.
Users are encouraged to be honest when AI was used, especially when AI meaningfully contributed to a post, blog, image, audio clip, video, document, guide, review, or other content.
AI-generated content remains the responsibility of the user who posts it.
Topic-Sensitive Areas
Uncrowned Empire sites may discuss topics that require extra care, including gaming, technology, cybersecurity, digital rights, military history, home security, preparedness, consumer tools, entertainment, and current events.
Users may discuss these topics in good faith, but must avoid using the community to facilitate harm, abuse, illegal activity, deception, or unsafe conduct.
Educational, historical, journalistic, defensive, or safety-focused discussion is generally welcome when it is responsible, lawful, and not used as a cover for harmful instructions or prohibited activity.
Private Messages
Private messages are subject to these Community Guidelines.
Users may not use private messages to harass others, send spam, distribute prohibited content, threaten users, evade moderation, solicit illegal activity, send scams, or pressure users off-site.
Staff may review private message reports or related information when necessary to investigate abuse, safety issues, or rule violations, in line with site policies and available moderation tools.
Appeals
Users may appeal moderation actions through the appropriate moderation or contact channel.
An appeal should explain why the user believes the action was incorrect, excessive, or should be reconsidered. Appeals are more likely to be considered when they are honest, calm, and supported by relevant context.
Repeated rule violations, dishonest appeals, harassment of staff, ban evasion, or continued disruption may reduce the chance of reversal.
Staff Discretion
These guidelines cannot cover every possible situation.
Staff may remove content, issue warnings, restrict accounts, suspend users, or ban accounts when behavior harms the community, violates the spirit of these guidelines, creates legal or safety concerns, or disrupts normal site operations.
Warning-point values are default guidelines, not guarantees. Staff may adjust enforcement based on severity, intent, context, user history, repeated behavior, evasion, or risk to the community.
Final Notes
Warnings are tracked privately, but users will be notified when infractions are issued.
These guidelines may be updated as our communities grow, our policies evolve, or new risks emerge.
Our goal is not to punish honest mistakes. Our goal is to maintain communities where users can discuss games, technology, entertainment, guides, news, opinions, projects, digital rights, history, security, and community topics without harassment, deception, spam, or abuse.
