TL;DR: Savage Arms has added the REVEL Tactical to its right-handed lever-action rimfire lineup, offering .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR models with 18-inch threaded barrels, adjustable iron sights, a Picatinny optics rail, M-LOK slots and an adjustable MDT stock. Three Rimfire Models
Savage Arms has expanded its REVEL lever-action rimfire series with the REVEL Tactical, joining the REVEL Classic and REVEL DLX. Introduced on October 8, 2026, the full-size, right-handed rifle combines a traditional lever action with a threaded barrel, optics rail, and accessory-mounting system.
The REVEL Tactical is available in three chamberings. The .22 LR model has a 12-round capacity and an MSRP of $629. The .22 WMR and .17 HMR versions each hold nine rounds and are priced at $659.
All three configurations have an 18-inch barrel, black receiver, and black synthetic stock.
Stock and Accessory Support
The rifle uses an MDT Tactical stock with pronounced grip surfaces and a redesigned pistol grip. A clip-on cheek riser provides interchangeable comb height, allowing the stock to accommodate different shooters and optic heights.
A rigid, one-piece Picatinny rail supports optic mounting. M-LOK slots on the fore-end provide attachment points for compatible accessories.
Savage says the design retains the REVEL series’ smooth-cycling lever action while adding features intended for range use, recreational shooting and small-game hunting.
Barrel and Sights
Each model has an 18-inch medium-profile barrel with a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle for fitting a suppressor or other compatible muzzle device.
The rifle also includes adjustable iron sights, including a hooded front sight, allowing it to be used without an added optic. Its simple takedown system is intended to make field maintenance and transport easier.
